Hey guys!
.
If you have been browsing through my blog recently then you would know that I have been attending several Avengers: Infinity War events over these past couples of weeks. In light of such attendance, I thought it would be a nice idea to share my opinion of the film itself with you all. To do so, without receiving negative feedback, I will have to avoid spoilers… Regardless of which, I hope you still enjoy!
.
Before getting into the review itself, I’d just like to say a big thank you to you all! The Avengers: Infinity War series of posts have been receiving lots of attention and positive feedback, making me both happy and fulfilled! I have been spending hours answering DM’s about the events and will continue to do so if it makes you all content! Anyways enough sentiment, you all know that I love you already, let’s get to the review!!

So now that I’ve been to the world premiere (link HERE), the after party (link HERE) and the private screening with Tom Holland for his charity event (link HERE), it’s finally time to tell you guys what I thought of the movie! I am therefore going to dedicate a whole post to my commentary on the movie because I simply have so much to share! It all started 10 years ago when the world met Marvel Studios’ Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr, in May 2008) for the first time. No one really knew what to expect, but years later, Marvel found a new way to blow our minds and introduced us to even more superheroes! And well, long story short, that brings us to where we are now, one decade, 19 films and billions in the box office later.
.
This specific film, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: Civil War) was an absolutely huge success. Brilliantly directed, inevitably well-cast and fantastically written, I mean what more could you ask for? Avengers: Infinity War is the second fastest film to hit $500 Million in the U.S Box office and is therefore pretty much the biggest superhero film in history! As most of you know, Marvel did a huge crossover in this film, bringing together characters like those of the MCU, those in Black Panther, Guardians of Galaxy, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Scarlett Witch, Captain America, Thor, Vision, etc… into one huge blockbuster! They did something that had quite literally never been done before. All the eighteen movies prior to Infinity War were all leading up to this, ensuring that I would never be more excited to watch anything in my life!

From the second the movie started, I literally couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. This 2h40 movie truly never gets boring! I was even surprised at the end because of how time had just flown by. Here’s a short synopsis to clear the story for you all; The Avengers and their allies look after the world and protect it from threats, but then, a bigger threat shows up, otherwise known as Thanos. His objective is to collect the six Infinity Stones; Time, Mind, Soul, Space, Reality, and Power; each of which holds unimaginable powers. If Thanos successfully collects all six Infinity Stones he can wipe out half of humanity with the snap of his fingers. The children of Thanos come to help him along and well, to put it frankly in Avenger world, the fate of the earth had never been more at risk. This movie, therefore, allows you to see the Avengers battle against their strongest enemy yet! Intriguing right!

Amongst many other things, one element of the movie which I adored was the soundtrack, composed by Alan Silvestri, who is famous for his creation of music for Forrest Gump. His compositions are interesting mostly due to their variance, ensuring that no two pieces of music sound similar, but somehow all fit together! In my opinion, it was this music that put me on the edge of my seat throughout the entirety of the movie! Cliffhanger after cliffhanger, I drew more and more intrigued
.
Another aspect of the film that I quickly grew obsessed with was its use of classic superheroes. I loved that the more modern characters never overshadowed the originals! Even more entertaining was how all these characters, modern or original, interacted with each other! I never thought I would’ve seen Groot and Captain America meeting each other or Thor in the Star Lord’s spaceship! The entire movie was therefore full of laughs but also really intense and unexpected!
.

.
If you aren’t a huge Marvel fan and haven’t seen all the movies, I would recommend watching them before you watch Infinity War. As mentioned before, there are a lot of characters and the plot is absolutely huge. You will definitely enjoy the movie more if you know the whole story and have seen the previous movies as everything will make more sense, making the experience all the more enjoyable. Keep in mind that without watching the previous films, you can still understand the whole thing… I just warn you, it might get a bit confusing!

.
My personal opinion is based on my reaction to the movie. Considering it totally blew my mind and exceeded my expectations, this opinion is obviously very positive. Although it is not what I assumed would happen, it will still make my top three favorite Marvel movies! I loved the strong female role models that were in this movie, specifically Wanda, Natasha, and Okoye, who combined, made the perfect trio! The only thing I would’ve loved to see and didn’t was an interaction between Shuri (Black Panther) and Peter (Spider-Man)… also, we haven’t seen Hawkeye and Ant-Man either. But Ant-Man and the Wasp is coming soon and I’m thrilled to go and see it! Regardless of these mishaps, I still adored the movie!
.
Marvel did a brilliant job putting this masterpiece together and therefore made for a perfect way to celebrate 10 years of magic. I truly can’t wait to go see Avengers 4 next year as well as Captain Marvel and Spider-Man Homecoming 2 in 2019! I guess it just never ends!
.

.
Overall, I would rate this movie a 10/10, because it was truly one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time. Mind blown, over the moon and happy as ever, I walked out of that movie theatre feeling content/in shock but also proud of Avengers: Infinity War. I simply cannot wait to purchase the film and watch it all over again!
.
Lots of LOVE – as usual,

Mini SPOILERS for those who aren’t worried of a little foreshadowing: Tony Stark completely upgraded iron man’s suit and it now looks insane and SpiderMan’s suit is also slightly modified and modernized, making it super cool!!

I hope you guys liked this review, let me know in the comments section below if you have seen Avengers: Infinity War yet and if so, who’s your favorite character and why? Mines are Iron Man, Spider-Man and Loki! Or if Marvel movies aren’t your thing? Let me know!
Really good review, Tiffany! I actually found this post through your blog link that was found in the comment section of the MovieBabble article “Does Infinity War Actually Lack Stakes?” You do bring up some really good points in your review that I agree with, such as the brilliant use of music. I also reviewed Avengers: Infinity War (both spoiler and spoiler-free), so check it out if you get the chance!

I definitely agree with you, I loved the movie!! My favorite character is Loki. I love his character development throughout all of the Marvel movies and how mysterious he is! Specifically in Infinity War, I also loved that we got to learn more about Gamora.
I completely agree, the movie was amazing! I shared a fellow blogger’s lowdown on the entire Marvel story leading up to Infinity. Here is the link. Gold Zena did a brilliant job!
