GIVE A GIRL THE RIGHT SHOES AND SHE CAN CONQUER THE WORLD – MY TWELVE SHOE ESSENTIALS

Recently my posts have been more event-orientated and honestly, I miss talking about my real passion, that is, fashion. It feels like years since the last time I sat down and wrote about accessories, especially shoes! Which leads me to this post, a compilation of twelve shoes which I adore and cannot live without. I will include pumps and sneakers and will try to list a range of prices so that they are suitable for anyone! Anyways, let’s get to it, enjoy!

First up on my list are these classic “Veronica Lodge” style pumps which are just absolutely perfect in my eyes. Simple, yet very elegant, you honestly cannot go wrong with a classic like these! Also, this specific shoe can easily be paired with almost any outfit, making them both versatile and very practical!

Whether you’re going on a date, or to a friend’s birthday bash or even to a club, these stilettos will work wonders with any style! They are the splendid intermediate between suede and patent, making them successfully achieve a unique look while still staying traditional. In all honesty, they are probably my favourite pair of Jimmy Choo heels, meaning they just had to make the list!

Moving on, I’ve owned this pair of Jimmy Choo boots for quite a few years now and well, I’m completely in love with them! These ‘rock’ boots are amazing for everyday endeavours and are also super comfortable. Wear them with a skirt or jeans and receive nothing but positive feedback!

These boots have to be by far the most practical shoes on my list today. Other than being absolutely comfortable and super versatile, they also have a discrete heel inside the boot itself, adding height to your look without wearing traditional ‘heels’! You appear taller without the effort of trying to walk in heels…. I mean what more could one ask for?! I also love that these FENDI boots are silver, gold and black, making them not completely black and therefore unique amongst my excessive collection of winter boots.

Moving onto sneakers, most of you should already know that converse are very popular in my closet and are honestly one of my favourite shoe brands. They are honestly an essential and I’ve been wearing them forever. I recently wore them to Coachella and honestly couldn’t have survived the weekend without them, my feet didn’t hurt once! Although I always only tend to wear either my black or white pairs, I hope one day I explore more colours… For now, both the white and black shade stay my essentials and black as my evident go-to.

From the moment I bought these shoes back in October, I just knew we would be inseparable. I remember spending months searching for the right knee-high black boots, so when I found these, I was evidently over the moon! They are incredibly comfortable, look amazing and have tiny heels to bump up my height a little! Best platform boots ever!

Like the pair before, the build-up to eventually buying these shoes included a lot of searching – as here too, I was in the quest for knee-high boots! This time, I wanted them in white so when I saw stunning cream Stuart Weitzman boots, I just knew they had to be mine. Amongst other things, they remind me of Ariana Grande and are super comfortable! Just like the black ones above, these types of boots go with so much and are so versatile! Honestly at the moment, they are my favorite type of shoe!

Moving on, these Vans slip-ons are truly a classic. I only purchased them a few months ago but have been wearing them everywhere ever since! Whether it’s to go to the grocery store or simply out for lunch, they’re really the perfect, practical shoe to look both stylish and comfortable! Plus checkered patterns have always been a favorite!

Although I don’t actually own these shoes, they had to make my list! I adore them and have been looking for somewhere to buy them for AGES! Unfortunately for me, no stores have my size in stock but ONE DAY I will own them – I hope! Anyways, all my friends wear them, you probably do too and they seem really comfy! I also love the skater vibe they give off and even more so the pattern!

Next up on my list are my Saint Laurent booties. I own a few pairs of them and they are quite literally ESSENTIALS! They’re so so so pretty and are wearable with anything, seriously. I love how classic they are and the slender look they give to any outfit. Super clean cut, super chic, these shoes simply had to make the list!

Finally, to finish off my list I will include an older pair, my first ever pair of Saint Laurent sneakers! I’m obsessed with them now and was obsessed with them then! Although they get dirty very easily, I still adore them and can very easily walk around in them for hours. Overall, they aren’t my favorite sneakers but regardless, they are still close to heart. I’m very glad I purchased them and love that over the years, they continue to look as cool as they used to! Timeless? I think yes.

12. JIMMY CHOO MISTY – 650.00 €

Jimmy Choo again… I know! But they’re simply the comfiest and quite frankly the prettiest shoe ever. Anyways, I just had to add this pair to my list!!! These are the shoes that Zendaya wore to the Met Gala this year (link to my opinion of best looks (HERE). They are gorgeous silver metallic pumps which completely melted my heart ages ago! Plus I’m obsessed with their futuristic look!
