MY REACTION TO THE WALKING DEAD’S SEASON 7 PREMIERE [SPOILER ALERT]

Whenever I watch a tv show, I am either extremely into it or not at all. For “The Walking Dead” I was extremely into it; I love pretty much everything about the show. It has action, a little touch of romance, blood, and horror…Basically, everything I love combined into one tv show. Yesterday, I watched the first episode of season 7 entitled:”The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be” in premiere. Of course, I am not going to lie, it was very bloody and not for everyone. The reaction of people varied greatly; some people thought it was too brutal and violent while others thought it was the perfect set up for a zombie show. Abraham was the first victim of Lucille (Negan’s bat). I personally liked Abraham a lot and was in shock even tough everyone expected him to die. We saw him being very brave until the very end. Afterward, Rosita (Abraham’s ex) started crying and couldn’t realize what was happening, so Negan started being angry at her. At that specific moment, Daryl stood up and punched Negan in the face! Well, that didn’t really help since Daryl nearly got killed. Negan was furious and decided to kill someone else, Glenn. Glenn was in the 7 seasons of The Walking Dead and was one of the audience’s favorite character. Everyone was in total shock, the scene was very brutal, and Maggie (his pregnant wife) was also there during his last breath, which made the scene even more sad. Sadly for most of the audience, Glenn’s death shaded Abraham’s. A few minutes later, Negan forced Rick to cut off his son’s arm (Carl), which was pretty intense but   he luckily didn’t ended amputated. To come back to the main point, I do think the episode was particularly brutal, but Negan needed to scare everyone and make a big entrance. “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be” was definitely my favorite episode of the “The Walking Dead” TV show and I am very excited to see what the producers planned for us.
