A New Designer Means New Amazing Clothes – CELINE’S SPRING 2019 READY-TO-WEAR FASHION SHOW

Hey guys! How’s it going? So, fashion week is baaaaaaack and I got the incredible opportunity to get invited to the Céline Spring 2019 ready-to-wear show. I went with my mom and I couldn’t have been more excited! I was seriously scared that I wasn’t going to make it as I am attending Marvel’s Venom Premiere in Los Angeles in just two days! But, I thought I just couldn’t miss this!

If you didn’t already know Phoebe Philo was the designer for Céline up until this show! Hedi Slimane (from Saint Laurent) took her place and I was very eager to see what he was going to do for his very first collection with the brand.

Now let’s get to the event itself!… My mom was so nice and she organized for people to come and do our hair and makeup. I went for a brown smokey eye and spaghetti-straight hair. I decided to wear a short cream embroidered dress from Dior with black golden booties that are also from Dior and my small black bag from Fendi.

Right after we finished getting ready I went back to my room to have a little something to eat and then my mom and I were off to the cocktail before the show. The cocktail was on the terrace of our hotel and actually ended up being in the suite in front of my room (it was literally two meters away)! The view from the terrace was insanely beautiful, to say the least. It had a panoramic view of the Eiffel Tower. So, that was obviously picture perfect! We stayed there for around 45 Minutes with the lovely people working at Céline.

We then took a car to get to the show. But, oh my. It was freezing! I was so impressed as they literally built the venue for the show only for that show to take place. We showed our tickets and we got ready to go in and get to our seats!

Right before heading into the monument I saw Lady Gaga pass by me. I was so shocked I literally stopped breathing and I’m still starstruck right now! She’s literally the boss.

The whole place was so dark but we managed to get to our seats with the help of the staff. Then, a few moments later; the show began. There was a big beautiful sculpture made out of mirrors on the runway. It was so stunning. Reflections kept on coming onto the crowd because of all the spotlights. This gave off a very cool effect and was super cool!

Now let’s get to my favourite looks! The show was for woman and menswear but I’ll only include woman looks in this post as these were my favorites!

Let’s start off with this beautiful shiny black dress. I love this look because it’s so rock chic and simple at the same time.

Another dress that I fell in love with at the show; this elegant half matte/half shiny dress. I really like how the Céline team matched it with boots!

Talking about rock, I am absolutely in love with this jumpsuit! I’ve been wearing more and more jumpsuits recently! I just think they’re so practical and pleasant looking.

This dress is also so, so, so stunning! This collection gave me major Ariana Grande-Saint Laurent vibes.

Now onto more colorful looks, although whilst still sticking to the shiny vibe. I love how the dress is short but it makes a contrast because it is baggy around the arms. It’s such an awesome kind of 80’s vibe dress!

This one is so gorgeous! I’m unable to tell if it’s made out of leather or some type of shiny fabric. But either way, you guessed it, I LOVE it.

This look is much more classy than the other ones. I’m obsessed with the style of the coat and the silver details on it!

I love this one, even more, I’d die for a coat like this for this winter! Céline if you’re reading this and want to give a loving blogger a coat… let me know… hihi!

Finally some more colors! I had to include this one in my list of favorites. So extremely gorgeous!

I included this one as its super original but I like it a little less than other ones in this post.

And now, for my one of my favorite dresses from this post. I’m in love with this simple black dress, it is definitely the dress of my dreams. The little colorful clutch they matched with it looks awesome too!

On to something a little more simple. This is such a perfect everyday outfit.

Now onto emerald green! This reminded me a lot of Dior. The cut of the dress is absolutely stunning and it shines like a thousand stars. The emerald color is such a bold statement which I adore.

This is the most perfect airport chic look. I love the bomber!! I love it even more with the yellow details on the side.

And last but definitely, definitely not least for one last gorgeous black dress! I love how it highlights the waist and matches so well with the headpiece!

Wow! That’s it for my 15 favourite looks! I love this show even though there was a lot of black! It was one of my favourite shows I’ve ever attended! I’ve seen a lot of hate towards the new designer but I actually prefer the brand now. In my opinion, it was too simple before. I felt that it kind of looked all the same (which is why I never bought clothes from there).

I got the immense and amazing opportunity to meet Lady Gaga and Karl Lagerfeld!! Which was for obvious reasons, really really really cool. Oh, and also the hottie Will Peltz!
