A LAID-BACK BLACK SWAN IN THE BIG CITY – LOS ANGELES OOTD

Hey guys! I’m not used to posting two days in a row, but here we are! If you have been following my last few blog posts you should be aware that I will be attending Marvel’s Venom premiere. For that event only I had to go to LA!  I went with my brother and we’re staying here for four days in total. I’ve had so much fun so far and I can’t wait for what’s coming!

A little fun fact for you all: just before we head onto today’s look, I wanted to tell a little story. So, my worst nightmare came true and my suitcase didn’t arrive in LA. So, I had to go buy a few items when I arrived yesterday. At the end of the day, I was actually glad this happened at this time and not when I came for the Avengers: Infinity War event as I went to that premiere a few hours after having landed. This time the premiere is not until the 1st so I will thankfully have my suitcase and therefore my look for the night by then. This is also the reason I don’t have a purse on this post! As much as it’s annoying that I don’t have my suitcase it was a good excuse to go out and get some new pieces, so who am I to complain?! The situation was in the end very bitter-sweet!

Since we literally arrived with only my backpack and the clothes we had on us. We had to shop for the essentials; meaning toothbrushes (obviously), a few other quick essentials and clothes for today! We were walking in Beverly Hills yesterday and ended up going in Fstores as it seemed like they had really cool items. I was very pleasantly surprised by what I found.

For today’s OOTD (aka Outfit of the Day) I am wearing black denim shorts with red zips on the sides of them (shorts are from Emma & Sam). With the shorts, I matched a black long sleeve top which is open at the front (from Fstores). To finish up the look I wore my pair of black high-top converse and sunglasses from Urban Outfitters that I also bought today and my red Brandy Melville scrunchie

My brother and I had a pretty cool day so far. We went out to have lunch at In & Out and then we went to West Hollywood (where I bought my sunglasses). Then we headed to The Beverly Hills hotel as it looks so pretty and I had to make it the location for the photos!! If you’re Instagram obsessed you would have seen tons of bloggers taking pics in front of this awesomely decorated hotel.

I am so incredibly excited to be back in my favourite city. If you know me you would know that I love, love, love (you get the point), love Los Angeles! I can’t wait to do a bit more shopping and picture-taking before leaving and I can’t help but enjoy the temperature (it is a positive change from London)!
