FALL OUTFITS FOR THE WARMER WEATHER – THREE OUTFITS I WORE WHILE BACK IN CALIFORNIA

Hey guys! How’s it going? For today’s post, I wanted to share a couple of outfits I wore while on a trip to Los Angeles recently! Following the AMA’s (link to my post about it HERE), my dad and I decided to stay two more days to enjoy California’s warm weather (and all the delicious brunches) as well as spend some time together.

Even though now I travel a lot more frequently to Los Angeles than I used to (due to events mostly), I still always have the best time there and always end up not wanting to leave haha. It’s also one of the only destinations I have traveled to where I found some of the healthiest restaurants and where it’s almost impossible not to eat at the same vegan restaurant as there is always a new one opening in town (which makes it fun to go and try all of them out, since they always end up being better than the previous one)! Now that I’ve declared my love for this state and its sunny city, let’s head onto what I wore there, shall we?

On our first full day in Cali, my dad and I started the day quite late around 11am (since we were both still exhausted from the trip and the event we had the previous day) so we headed straight to Gratitude Cafe, located on Rodeo Drive which isn’t too far from the hotel we were staying at. I have only ever tried that restaurant at that location, but they have multiple locations all throughout the city. We have literally gone 8 times in the past 6 months since it’s THAT good (and vegan, which honestly you don’t even realize)! I ordered avocado toasts with an açaí bowl (highly recommended) and my dad went for the lasagna (which I also love)! We then walked around Beverly Hills while catching up and then headed back to the hotel on foot! We stayed in for a little bit and then headed back outside to get an ice cream at Sprinkles.

For the first part of the day, I wore a cropped shiny top from Revolve with high-waisted jeans from Agolde and Wolford fishnet tights underneath. With that I wore my laced up classic Dr. Martens boots and my small ‘Loulou’ Saint Laurent backpack.

Later that day we went to have dinner at Nobu, which is a very nice modern Japanese cuisine restaurant located in the West Hollywood area of LA! I had a really nice bonding time with my dad and crazily good sushi to go with it!

For the outfit of the night, I wore a National Geographic yellow t-shirt with a Sandro faux-leather skirt and Fendi trainers. I also added a small Chanel glittery silver purse to add details and make it more of an evening look!

My dad left in the early morning to go to San Francisco for a bridge tournament and I stayed until mid-afternoon. I started packing as soon as my dad left and went to eat at Sweetfin (aka the best poke bowl place in LA)  around 12pm. I stayed outside for a little bit walking around town afterward enjoyed my last moments in the country before heading back to cold London!

On my departure day, I wore a white tank from Joah Brown with BDG (from UO) black shorts and a Jacquemus orange belt bag (which has honestly been the highlight piece of my closet for the past months)! To finish off the look I added an oversized Saint Laurent black and orange bomber and Fendi trainers.

Although I only stayed for less than 72 hours, I still managed to have an amazing time and especially at the AMA’s which I honestly cannot get over (since it was so beyond surreal)! I can’t wait to head back to California!

What are your favorite brunches in Los Angeles or your hometown? For me it would have to be The Cabana Cafe (at Beverly Hills Hotel) or Gratitude Cafe, you can also check out my post about the best brunches if you are heading there soon (link HERE).

Lots of LOVE, as always,
