Hey guys! How’s it going? Wow, this past few months have really been full of events haven’t they? Haha. From the insane chance of going to the Grammy’s with my lovely brother to the Elton John aids foundation with my mom, this past month was truly a blast. But before I headed back to the UK, there was one last thing that I got the privilege to get invited to, the “Captain Marvel” premiere!
.
My brother was initially supposed to attend with me, but he had a problem with his passport and didn’t end up coming. I ended up going with my mom which was just as fun! We started the day by having our hair and makeup done. My mom went for casual simple beach waves, and I went for a messy side braid (its a French braid at the top and it slowly fades into a fishtail at the end)! As for the makeup my mom went for green eyeshadow (that always makes her eyes pop), and I went for a glittery pink and brown smokey eye.
.
For my outfit, I wore a white Saint Laurent slightly oversized blazer, with a white tank top and glittery black shorts from the same brand. As well as a velvet black and silver bag also from Saint Laurent. For the shoes, I went for Jimmy Choo (as usual if you know me haha). I actually had my nails done that morning (which I never do since I love to do them myself), but it was so nice to get them done by a professional! I went for white color on my nails to match my blazer!

We then ordered a little something to eat before heading to the ‘El Capitan’ theater where the event took place. We left the hotel around 6:30PM (which is super late compared to other premieres I attended). We arrived on Hollywood Boulevard and went straight through security. We then headed to the will call desk where we showed our id’s and got our passes to the screening! There were two theaters projecting the movie but we were in the Dolby Theatre (aka the main one)! Fun fact: this is also where the ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ premiere took place around a year ago, that was the first premiere I attended so it brought back good memories! Truly a night I will never forget!
.
We then showed our passes to security and got access to the red carpet. There was Captain Marvel’s ship, photo booths and a ton of other fun stuff! But, we pretty much walked straight to the theater since the movie was about to begin!
.
We headed to the Dolby Theater and walked up a small flight of stairs to reach another small security where we had to put our phones in sealed pockets (that we kept with us). They only have that for really exclusive movies (the only other premiere that had that was ‘Avengers: Infinity War’… ‘Venom and ‘Aquaman’ didn’t). Then we went to pick up some popcorn and drinks! We then headed to our seats which had a great view of the screen, which was right in the middle of all the seats!

.
The whole cast came to the premiere and took to the stage to present the movie! Brie Larson did a beautiful speech about how the making of the movie went down! Then the cast came down from the stage and went to their seats as the lights went dark. I won’t spoil anything about the movie and will write a full review about that very soon, but for the time being, I will say it’s nice to see a female superhero for a change! The movie was packed with humor and a lot of emotions as well! The story of Carol was very well told and I can’t wait to see more from her in future Marvel movies! The movie also beautifully honored Stan Lee.
.
As soon as the movie ended we headed out (we were originally supposed to go to the after party but there was a confusion made with tickets). So we headed back to the hotel! It was still a super fun night and I’m so glad I got the chance to go, and with my amazing +1, my mom!

Are you going to go see Captain Marvel in theaters on March 8th? Let me know! Also, do you prefer Marvel or DC? For me, it’s always been, Marvel!

Lot’s of LOVE, as always,
