Hey guys! I hope everyone is doing good! Today’s outfit of the day (aka OOTD) is a little out of my comfort zone and different to what I usually wear. I recently bought roller skates and when they arrived I immediately felt inspired. I came up with the idea to make an all red and black American diner-inspired look. This look consisted of an Urban Outfitters red ‘Coca-Cola’ crop top with a Saint Laurent leather mini skirt and my cherry red and cream skates from Moxi Lolly Roller Skates. To add a little more drama to my look I decided to put my hair up in a high ponytail, add red lipstick from Mac Cosmetics to my lips and golden/dark brown eyeshadow from the Mothership II: Sublime Palette from Pat McGrath to my eyes.
Since my look came from the 70/80’s vibes I tried to find a local diner to take pictures in. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find one so I ended up taking a few shots on my rooftop. Plus, I think they turned out really great! So, as I was saying earlier this isn’t your average OOTD as I didn’t actually leave my house like this. I wouldn’t say that I am an expert roller skater either so going around in a YSL skirt and skates wouldn’t be the best idea ahah! I just really loved the vibe of the look with the roller skates!
I decided to buy these roller skates a couple weeks ago as I loved roller skating when I was younger! As soon as I researched roller skates for sale I fell in love with this classic red color. I originally saw them on Urban Outfitters but they couldn’t ship this product internationally (to Switzerland) so I ended up buying the same ones off of Amazon! I’m pretty sure they will be in my September’s favourite as I’m literally using them all day; every day. If I’m being completely honest I hadn’t skated in over six years so I fell a couple times… but, I’m getting there!
Anyways, here are some of the shots I took on my rooftop!
Once again this look included: an Urban Outfitters red “Coca-Cola” crop top with a Saint Laurent leather mini skirt and cherry red and cream skates from Moxi Lolly Roller Skates
Thank you so much for reading today’s post! Let me know what your favourite item from this OOTD was, or if you love roller skating just as much as I do!
Lot’s of LOVE, as always,
Tiffany Lea
