ICE WHITE JULY – MY FASHION AND BEAUTY FAVOURITES THIS MONTH

Hey guys! Hope everyone is having a great day/evening!
.
As you should all already know, two days ago we entered the month of August which means that sadly, we’ve left the wonderful month of July behind. I hope you have all been having a great summer so far and are looking forward to school/university starting in the fall! Anyways, back to summer: in the past, a couple of times a year, I have shared my favorites of the month… The style of the post itself is probably one of my most-liked and read posts overall! So hopefully, this one will be no different and you’ll all like it too!
.
During the month of July, as I was traveling so much, I barely wore any makeup apart from concealer here and there to hide a couple of blemishes. I haven’t even worn mascara in weeks at this point, and quite frankly I’m loving it! It’s so good to take a break from makeup (even though I still love it) to let your skin breathe a bit! In these past months, I’ve also really been trying to change up my skincare routine with the addition of as many organic products as possible, and I can honestly tell you now, that it has changed my skin for the better. In the post below, I will share some of my favorite skincare products this month as well as my favorite lipsticks, brands and pretty much all my travel essentials. Let’s get to the post, shall we!

It’s no secret to anyone that I’m a huge Brandy Melville fan. So when I went back to my hometown (Geneva) to discover that they had opened up their first stop there, I was in shock. Due to this adoration and surprise, I went there a couple of times with a friend and found a ton of cute tops and shorts. I’m so glad they finally opened a store so I won’t have to order everything online or wait to travel somewhere else! I’ve worn a lot of white in the past weeks so here are some of my favorite tops from Brandy Melville and evidently, my favorite accessories!
.
1. Brandy Melville ANNA BODYSUIT in White – $24.00
First off here’s a white bodysuit that I’ve been obsessed with ever since I bought it a few months ago! I love the cut, how comfy it is and the fact that it’s genuinely the perfect thing to wear when you’re in a hurry and don’t know what else to put on!
.
2. Brandy Melville LIZZY THERMAL TOP – $20.00
Up next is a simple white top which is again, wearable with anything, super cute for the summer and so so so comfy. I love this piece because of its plain yet dainty at the same time, the little ruffles make all the difference!
.
3. Brandy Melville MARGARET TOP (SOLD OUT)
I’m utterly in love with this one. I regret not buying it in red but I still love this baby blue/greyish color! Again, this top makes for the perfect addition to a jeans-and-tee outfit and is great for the summer. Wear this out with friends to feel comfy and cute!
.
4. Brandy Melville Christy Flames Hoodie (SOLD OUT)
You’re probably going to see me wearing this hoodie on all the long plane rides ill be flying this summer! The inside of this hoodie is incredibly soft and just perfect to travel in, I love the side flames as I think they look awesome and add an extra touch to the normal hoody look – I can’t wait to wear it more often!
.
5. Brandy Melville grey scrunchie (SOLD OUT)
Last but not least clothes-wise, I’ve been really obsessed with this grey scrunchie recently! Whenever I edit a post or take a long-car-ride I love putting my hair up in a bun/ponytail! It’s so much cuter than a regular hair tie and it really protects my hair – all of these normal hairbands are constantly giving me split ends and unhappy hair! Lucky for you, you can find these anywhere and in multiple colors! I chose grey because it was by far my favorite on offer that day!
.
6. Urban Outfitters  Venice Oval Sunglasses in White – $18.00 (SOLD OUT)
On to my favorite sunglasses of the summer: I’ve been using these oval-shaped sunglasses from Urban Outfitters ever since they arrived at my house. I can’t get over them and their price was also super convenient! I recently wrote a sunglasses shopping guide so click HERE if you want to check that out! This pair was included, I promise!
.
7. Chanel Booties
I bought this pair of black Chanel booties while in Paris for Fashion Week at the beginning of July. I own a few other pairs of Chanel boots but these ones are so much more comfortable edgy! I love their rocker vibe and a side zip – making them super easy to wear! They’re surprisingly not too hot and are therefore even wearable in the summer! Hence why I bring them with me everywhere and have been rocking them with shorts ever since!

Now moving onto my favorite beauty products of this month! As I said earlier I haven’t been wearing a lot of makeup recently, but, in the past couple of weeks, I have still been applying my favorite eyebrow product and of course, some much-needed concealer! I added a few of my travel essentials and hair essentials as well… Enjoy!
.
1. Benefit’s ka-BROW! eyebrow cream-gel color 5 –  $24.00
Starting off my list, here is a product which has been mentioned multiple times on Zimmy Lifestyle! I’ve written about it so many times that I swear you must all have read about it at least once by now… Anyways the reason behind its repeated nature is to do with how brilliant the product is! Honestly, it’s goals. The brush in the packaging makes it so much easier to apply and overall, it is the perfect travel companion! Hence why it came everywhere with me this summer… It helps me fill my eyebrows a little but still offers me a totally natural look!
.
2. Cover FX’s CREAM CONCEALER color G Light – $28.00
Moving onto concealer, I bought this one at a Sephora a few months ago to try out both the product itself and the brand. I only really started using it a few weeks ago but I love it and the coverage it provides is pretty good too! As soon as I’m finished with this one I’ll probably go back to my favorite Tarte concealer but, its sheer coverage is perfect for the summer!
.
3. Yves Saint Laurent’s TATOUAGE COUTURE color 5 “Rosewood Gang” – $36.00
I use this amazing tint in two ways. First, I put the tiniest amount of the product in the center of my lips, where it gives me a natural rose lip-color to die for! I then apply and blend some more product using my fingers around my lips as the brush itself gives off way too much product (and using my fingers is the fastest and most precise technique I have found so far). The second way I use this substance is much more for a night out or an event, but I use it as a blush! I apply a small amount to my fingers and blend away!
.
4. Tony Moly’s Magic Food Dalcom Banana Lip Balm – $10.00
Something that all my close friends and family know about me, is that I absolutely despise Bananas. But when I mean DESPISE I truly mean that I cannot smell, nor touch or nor even see them. Honestly, I just really don’t like bananas. So when I was walking around Sephora and saw this banana lip balm I knew I had to try it out just to prompt me into feeling even grosser to make me used to the smell. And well, funnily enough, I loved it and even though the smell was really hard to bare within the first couple of days, I eventually got used to it! Anyways, to all the banana eaters out there, I recommend this balm a hundred percent!
.
5. Kérastase’s Elixir Ultime Versatile Beautifying Oil Treatment 100ml – $50.00
While shopping with my friend a few weeks ago, I ran into this oil from Kérastase that I had bought a few months back and had run out of really fast. So, I immediately bought it again as I was obviously out of hair oil and it’s one of my absolute essentials (paired with the Shu Uemura hair oil of course). I don’t use anything on my hair apart from my shampoo, conditioner, masks, and oil (and a hairbrush obviously). I don’t like hair dryers as I think they damage your hair a lot and I prefer having my hair dry naturally. Taking care of my hair was always really important to me and I can certify that purchasing a good oil for your hair is the best thing to do and is so worth it! Whether you have dry or oily hair, oils are honestly amazing for rejuvenating your locks! If you have dry hair (like me), apply the oil at the tip of your hair making your way up and stop right before your scalp. If you have oily hair only apply the oil at the tips of your hair. Use a few pumps, warm it up a bit in your hands, apply it and ideally do this every night and do the same in the morning, with less product! Trust me, it will just give you glowing, shiny and stunning hair which will constantly look healthy.
.
6. Kora Organic’s BALANCING ROSE MIST $39.95 AUD
One thing that I love having for a hot day under the burning sun or simply for soothing my dry skin out is a rose mist. It’s so fresh, hydrating, smells amazing and gives you beautiful fresh glowing skin. This one is organic and is from Miranda Kerr’s brand Kora Organics, I wrote a full review about a big range of products from her collection, click HERE if you would like to check that out.
.
7. Fresh’s BLACK TEA INSTANT PERFECTING MASK – $92.00
As I’ve been lucky enough to have really good skin in the past few weeks, I haven’t been using purifying masks as much but regardless, have been loving this one lately. It hydrates your skin seamlessly and overall just makes it look a lot smoother. I also already wrote about this mask in a previous post as it is one of my favorites. I would totally recommend buying it and even though it’s an expensive mask its worth every penny to me and lasts the longest time!
.
8. L’Occitane’s VERBENA COOLING HAND CREAM GEL – $12.00
And last but not least how could I write about my monthly travel essentials without adding my favorite hand cream! This gel cream from l’Occitane has been my favorite for years! I don’t like the texture of hand cream as it is usually too thick and oily, making it hard to touch anything without leaving grease behind… But no, this one, on the other hand, does no such thing! And has a cooling gel texture which smells amazing! Best hand cream on earth by far!
.
And there you go, that brings me to the end of my list! I hope you enjoyed reading about the items which made my July complete! Don’t forget to let me know down in the comments section below what your favorites of the month are and if we share the same love for an item! Do you own any of the products listed above? Do you like Brandy Melville? Let me know!
.
Sending LOVE as always,
.
