Hey guys!

I hope you’re all having a great day/evening and enjoying your summer so far. Whether you are traveling or studying (good luck), I hope you’re having fun!

Today I wanted to share with you all an “Outfit of the Day” post, I don’t do these very often so I thought to do a Canadian edition as I’m currently there on holiday would make for a good change! This is a very simple outfit that I wore at my house in Quebec, but as the house is situated in a golf park, my brother and I decided to go for a round! Below are several pictures of me exploring Canada through my backyard while bringing a little bit of my Swiss/English style with me!

If you’ve been keeping up with me for a while you should know by now that I come to this house for a few weeks every summer. When I was small, I used to come for a full month and a half, but now that my schedule is a bit busier, I don’t get to spend that much time up here. This is where I catch up with my siblings (who live all around the world) and my dad! As we’re pretty much in the middle of nowhere in the forest, it’s the perfect place to relax and disconnect for a while, while connecting to one another.

When I come here I try to disconnect from social media as much as I can, while still keeping you guys updated. As someone who spends a lot of time on social media I can guarantee you, taking little breaks is fundamental! Also, being able to really spend genuine time with my siblings is priceless. We are barely ever in the same place at the same time, so these couple of weeks are so precious!

Now back to my outfit! For this day in the middle of Quebec, I wore a Brandy Melville bright yellow cropped tank top with the word “Honey” embroidered on it, with my black high rise button-up shorts from the same brand. With that, I added the beloved black Chanel booties that I recently mentioned in my July Favourites post (click HERE if you would be interested in checking that out). This is an outfit that I absolutely adore, it’s simple but still really cute and perfect for the summer. I decided to finish this look with a high-ponytail and voilà! Ready to go and ready to explore!

As I shared in my Marrakech post (as well as my other recent posts), I stopped wearing makeup these pasts weeks. Of course, I still wear a bit of concealer here and there and I still from time to time do my eyebrows but I really don’t do the whole Chabang anymore. So as well as taking a little social media break while I’m here, I also plan on taking a makeup break! If you haven’t read my previous posts, the reason for which I decided to start wearing less makeup was simply to let me skin breathe. I’m used to putting mascara on every day and doing my makeup every morning (which I still love by the way), but letting my skin rest and be makeup-free for a while is also so important. Especially in the summer season, where having sun rays on a thick foundation is a remedy for disaster. Plus, being able to jump in a pool/lake without having to pray you put on waterproof mascara is the most freeing feeling ever. You don’t have to run around like a crazy person looking for makeup remover every time someone says ‘let’s go in the pool’ and instead, your skin can enjoy the sun and the water with no hassle whatsoever. I mean, now I can finally focus on fixing my skincare routine and perhaps getting a little tan! So if you notice that I’m not covered in makeup, don’t freak out!

Here are a couple of pictures of the outfit and of me having fun on the golf course and in the pool!
