FROM BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY TO TIMOTHEE CHALAMET – THE 25TH ANNUAL SAG AWARDS’ AFTER PARTY

Hey guys! How’s it going? If you’ve been following up with me recently, you should be aware that I got the insane privilege and opportunity to attend the 25th annual Screen Actors Guild (also known as SAG) Awards! You can check out yesterday’s post about the ceremony itself HERE. But, today’s post will be dedicated to how the after party went down! So let’s get to it, shall we?

Right after the show ended everyone headed to the post-awards gala which was in the Shrine Auditorium. We walked down the hallway exiting the ceremony and headed to the party. You could see a huge neon sign with “Havana” written on it at the entrance of the party. We showed our tickets and entered the room. It was filled with palm trees, red lights flashing, a lot of people and great background music! I quickly ran into the wonderful Gemma Chan (from Crazy Rich Asians) who had the prettiest pink fairytale dress. I couldn’t resist and I had to compliment her on it! She was super nice and I’m glad I bumped into her! After that, my mom and I headed to the bar to get something to drink. Shortly after that, I ran into Laura Harrier (from BlackKlansman and Spider-Man: Homecoming), she was wearing a beautiful and elegant pink dress. We walked around for a while whilst sipping on water (no alcohol for me in the US haha). We then headed near the entry where we talked for a bit! Then, all of a sudden, Ben Hardy and Gwilym Lee (from Bohemian Rhapsody) stopped right next to us and I couldn’t help but go up to Ben Hardy to talk. He was incredibly nice and we even got to take a picture together which was fun!
.
After that little moment of craziness, I headed to the bar where I met none-other-than, my favorite actor, Timothée Chalamet. If you’ve been following up with me on social media or frequently read ZimmyLifestyle you should know that I include Timothée a lot as I adore all his films! So to be able to personally meet him was beyond great! He was rushed by who I believe was his agent but he still took the time to say hey to me and he was really sweet! I congratulated him on his nominations, we talked a bit and took a picture together. Straight after that my mom and I headed to take another glass of water and we walked around and talked. I also bumped into The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star: Rachel Brosnahan!
.
Whilst walking around the huge “Cuba heaven” we walked countless times past the sofa with the Crazy Rich Asians cast: Henry Golding, Constance Wu, Michelle Yeoh, Gemma Chan, Awkwafina and more. Right next to them was the other huge sofa with the Bohemian Rhapsody cast again with literally the whole entire cast!
.
Moments later we headed to another spot of the after party with a huge Photo Booth! That’s when the cast of This is Us (who won the best ensemble in a drama series) walked in. I saw the adorable Faithe Herman (from This is Us) and I had to congratulate her on her award! She looked so cute in her metallic blue dress and her bow!  I also got to meet Eris Baker (who plays in the same show). She complimented me on my dress and she was so sweet!
.
Right after that, I bumped into Allen Leech, an incredible actor that I originally adored from Downton Abbey but more recently from Bohemian Rhapsody. We actually had quite a long talk (about Downtown) and he was so down to earth! He even spoke a bit of French to me haha. I also got to talk to Lucy Boynton that played Mary in Bohemian Rhapsody, she looked stunning and we got to talk about the movie!
.
I also met Laurie Holden that I originally knew from The Walking Dead. I met her a couple of times in Atlanta for the annual The Walking Dead convention held there. She was incredibly nice as usual and she wore a beautiful red dress! My mom and I then went to sit down for a bit and I met Gwilym Lee (Brian May in Bohemian Rhapsody), who was again super nice and down to earth. We got to take a picture together and talk about the movie which was so exciting!
.
After all, that craziness my mom and I decided to stay for a little while longer as we enjoyed the music and a couple more drinks! The SAG Awards were so much fun and I’m so glad I got to experience it! I couldn’t have dreamt of a better second awards show to attend and it was truly a dream from start to finish!
.
I hope you guys enjoyed my posts on the experience! Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post about my favorite looks from the event!
.
Also, if you could have met anyone that attended the show who would it be? For me, it would definitely have to be Timothée Chalamet. He was so nice!

.
Lot’s of LOVE, as always,
.
