The Best Pumpkin Spice Flavored Mask – Summer Fridays’ Overtime Mask Review

Hey guys! How’s it going? Today I wanted to write a review about a mask I have been wanting to try out for ages! It is Summer Fridays’ ‘Overtime Mask’. I’ve previously tried their first ever mask, ‘Jet Lag Hydrating Mask’. (Link to the review HERE) and I loved it. I’ve heard that this one was slightly exfoliating as well as hydrating (plus it smells like pumpkin spice) and is packed with vitamins A, K and C. So, I had to try it out and here are my thoughts on it!

I was so beyond excited when I saw that it arrived in the mail! My first thought when opening it was: wow it is still as aesthetic as with the last product. The packaging is super simple and clean as well as the tube for the mask itself. I love the color they chose as it truly reflects the pumpkin spice aspect (which is mostly what brought me in)! I made sure to cleanse my face before applying it and I was good to go. They suggest massaging it in circular motions for 60 seconds, avoiding the eye area on their official website, so that is exactly what I did. The mask had much more yellow in it than I thought. I remember being surprised at first! But it truly smelled like pumpkin and it was actually really pleasant to have the pumpkin particles exfoliating my skin.

10 minutes went by and I headed to the bathroom to rinse it off (with warm water and then patted my skin with a towel until it was finally dry). I really enjoyed this mask and having a 2 in 1 mask exfoliator as it’s less products to have while still being super effective. I again love that the exfoliation was not too strong as masks tend to leave my skin pretty dry.  My skin felt truly more hydrated than ever and I a had a glow that my half night of sleep didn’t give me!

I can’t choose a favourite mask between the two that I tried from this brand as I’m equally going to use both and for different reasons. But, only because the overtime one was exfoliating I think it might be my new favourite! I hope they will come out with a new product soon maybe even a purifying mask or something completely different. We’ll see I guess, but when it comes out I’ll be ready to review it!
