THE SECRET BENEFITS OF DRINKING MORE H20

Hey, everybody!

So today I wanted to change things up a bit, and instead of talking about my recent trip to Japan or my favorite makeup products, I thought I would talk about something that is much more real and relevant to every possible reader out there… Today I will be discussing the underrated, under-appreciated yet VITAL hydration source for humans: water. Important in my daily life, important in yours, water is a substance formed solely on hydrogen and oxygen atoms.

In this text, I’m not going to go on forever about it’s health benefits as I assume you all know them. Instead, I will be mentioning all the secret beauty benefits from drinking water! Did you know that it can do miracles to your appearance??

These benefits, beauty or health, are only possible if you consume enough H2O. Unfortunately, the majority of the world don’t drink enough and are greatly missing out! The Institute of Medicine recommends that women drink 2.7 liters, 11 glasses of water per day! These numbers vary dependent on your age, sports schedule, where you live, etc.

So, let’s just jump right into the fun part! Here’s a list of all the aesthetic benefits water can have on you:

  • Gives you stronger nails
  • Helps you fight aging
  • Clears all your acne
  • Reduces your hair loss
  • Cures any sunburn
  • Helps you loose weight 

Believe it or not, that’s only about half of them! I really hope this motivates you to drink more. Many of those benefits are very aesthetically improving and could therefore also boost your confidence and energy!

Personally, I’ve never had problems with not drinking enough water because I always carry a water bottle around with me in my bag! But unlike me, I know a lot of people that truly suffer in consuming enough and eventually find it super hard to stay hydrated. So in order to help you out if you are one of those people, I made a list of all the tricks that you can use to help you drink enough water:

  • Always keep a bottle of water with you
  • Add lemon or other fruits to your water to make it more tasty and pleasant to drink
  • Set a specific goal of how much you want to drink per day
  • Use a straw (you’ll drink more & faster)
  • Eat fruit that contains high amounts of water (watermelon, tomatoes etc.)
  • Put an alarm on your phone to remind you to drink a glass of water every few hours
