How can I describe this feeling I felt a year ago entering Le Grand Palais to see the Show, I was at the time crossing a very difficult time when the Chanel show brought me back to life. Whenever someone asks me, I simply say that I started living a year ago, before that, it was nothing, nothing compared to now. A year has passed and I am back again! Back at the Chanel Haute Couture Fashion Show! What a great experience.

BEFORE THE SHOW

Every time we get invited by Chanel it’s a whole procedure. We receive the invitation a few weeks before the show, we then start choosing our favourites outfits from a pre-selection that we had already made. We also need to choose all the accessories, the makeup and hairstyle that will go with them… Once all the aesthetic side is done we then just have to be patient till our departure to the city of Love; PARIS! When we arrive at the airport our chauffeur picks us up and brings us to the hotel, were our entries for the fashion show are waiting for us! About an hour after our arrival we went directly to get a shower and changed as we had the Gala Dinner at 20h. During the Dinner, we will able to see the new exclusive jewelries collection from Chanel. Once finished with all of that, it was time to go to bed but just before I scheduled for tomorrow a new post for my blog!

THE BIG DAY

The big day was finally there! I woke up at 7:30am and left at 9:15am. On the program: breakfast, makeup, hair and getting dressed! Once we were finished with all of our preparations a car picked us up and brought us to the show were the paparazzi started photobombing us! We then presented our invitations, got inside and took our seats… The first sentiment I felt while entering the Fashion show room was “wow”. Everything was so perfect, there were mirrors everywhere, and comfortable couches! It made me think about Coco Chanel’s dressing!

At first it was crowded, everyone was looking for their seats and then all of a sudden there was a silence, and the first models started walking. All the dresses seemed to be from the 30’s, they were colorful! The looks were very feminine and had a lot of glitter. At the end of the show Lily Rose Depp walked in with a wonderful pink bride dress! She then joined Karl and the public started applauding! Then all the models came out one last time. There was a standing ovation, the people then started leaving to their cars that were waiting for them. On my way to the exit I met the beautiful Chiara Ferragni and got the time to take a photo with her. I would describe the collection as glamorous, shiny, soft, light. The haute couture fashion show 2017 made by Chanel was fabulous and extraordinary I loved how girly the looks and the settings were.

AFTER THE SHOW

After the show, we always go see the Jewelries, and then we have a lunch at my hotel. My mom and I were in a hurry as we had our flights booked at 4PM to get back to Geneva!

It was an amazing experience and I am very glad to be a part of the big Chanel family. Even if I only stayed one day I had a lot of fun and will for sure come back come back again next year!!!
