BIG APPLE FOR THREE DAYS – NEW YORK LOOKBOOK

Hey guys! How’s it going on? I recently left New York to go to Miami for a family trip, and I thought I would make a lookbook about my short stay in the big apple! My brother and I arrived on the 22nd very late at night and the airport security was full so we ended up getting to the hotel even later. My mom (who got there earlier that day) already went to sleep so then so did my brother and I. My brother and I tried our best to sleep but we couldn’t since we had slept the whole flight. So we roamed around the streets of New York together at 4AM to celebrate our arrival in the city that doesn’t sleep! We even ended up going to the Apple store hahaha! I had forgotten to bring a charger and so went and bought one. We were originally going to leave NY on the 24th but we eventually decided to add another day!

On our first full day there we went to Central Park and we walked into a couple stores on 5th Avenue. We then went to one of my favorite restaurants, Nobu, with my mom and my brother! We went there around 2-3PM so I was surprised they were still serving but they set up a couple tables for “brunch” with a smaller menu and it was so much cozier! Shortly after we all ate about a hundred pieces of sushi, my brother left to meet friends and my mom and I went for a coffee!  It was by far much colder than the other days so we decided to stay inside as much as we could, especially since I didn’t exactly have a big coat on haha. For dinner, we decided to eat at the restaurant in the hotel downstairs and it was really good!

For most of this day, I wore a Versace set (which is the first clothing item I ever bought from Versace). I bought this set online and it ended being the perfect fit (which I wasn’t expecting since I’m pretty short)! I matched the set with one of my favorite pair of booties from Dior. I usually wear them to go out because the heel is a bit too high for me personally (at least for a full day), and I regretted it when I took them off at night haha.  I definitely don’t recommend walking around in heels all day!

On day two I ordered two iced coffees in my room whilst doing my nails to get pictures done of all my looks! For the photos, my mom and I met up with our photographer, Mariachi. We went to a couple of spots from SoHo to the Brooklyn Bridge. The shoot lasted around three hours, but it was honestly so much fun and such a cool experience! Straight after that (since we finished the shoot in Dumbo) my mom and I headed to Soho where we went to “& Other Stories” and then headed for ice cream! We then went to the hotel to leave the bags and get changed to go to Zuma (another insanely good Japanese/sushi restaurant that I am obsessed with)!

During the second day in the city that never sleeps, I wore a glitter bomber from Alberta Ferretti with a Chanel peace sign pin on it. I matched my jacket with a Leonardo DiCaprio (in “Romeo + Juliet”) crop top from Urban Outfitters with a pair of dark ripped jeans from Hollister and black booties from Chanel. I wore it with a “vintage” vibes Gucci bag that I am currently obsessed with.

On our last day in New York, my mom and I went for a walk in Central Park and then we went to have lunch at the hotel quickly before leaving to the airport! I wore a more “rock” and warmer look to Central Park since it was cold. I then changed into my airport look; a multicolor sweater from Urban Outfitters with ripped jeans and black booties from Chanel!

Even though I would never be able to live in New York for longer than a few months since it’s so crowded, it’s still so much fun to come and visit! There’s never a time when I go and I don’t have a blast!
