BEST OF THE BEST – MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MAKEUP PRODUCTS

Hey guys! So as you all know, I haven’t done a makeup review in a while and well to put it short, I thought this would be the perfect way to re-delve myself into that kind of reviewing!! From eyebrow products to eyeshadow palettes, here is a post providing you with my top ten favorite makeup products. In my opinion, these are the best of the best and honestly the coolest stuff on the makeup market right now. So my advice to you is sit tight, grab something to munch on and read this post, keeping a mental note of how many products you should go buy… Enjoy!

Disclaimer : I have been using makeup for quite a while now but am by no means a professional. I have tried each and every one of these products in the list below and thoroughly believe that they stand out. Please don’t think that I am imposing this list on you, these products are simply my favorites, but are not necessarily yours.

Benefit ka-BROW! Eyebrow cream-gel color n5 :

Honestly, Benefit beauty products have always played a huge role in my makeup routine. I have used their makeup for years and could honestly write a review on my favorite top ten benefit beauty products… But for the sake of this post, I will be primarily mentioning their eyebrow gel. From its super practical packaging to its creamy texture, this product is fundamentally easy to apply and simple to dilute or strengthen. It has a range of different shades and leaves you with dry, perfectly fixed and faultless brows! I would use this product any day over any pencil liner as gels give you both the tint and the structure all in one.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector®️ Pressed Highlighter – Moonstone :

Moving on, I’ve been obsessed with this highlighter product ever since my friend showed it to me at a Sephora in Atlanta two years ago! Crazy right? Well as I said, I’ve been in love with it ever since and have literally gone through a couple of boxes of it… I wear the shade “Moonstone” that is one of the lightest shades but perfectly matches my skin tone. It gives me an amazing natural glow for an everyday look but can be built up to create a full on shine to complement any nighttime outfit. I use it on my cheekbones, brow bone and a little bit on the inner corner of my eyes! I adore this product as it comes in many different colors and shades and honestly looks insane on any skin tone – I’ve used it on my friends before and have only ever received positive feedback!

Tarte maracuja creaseless concealer – light :

So this product has been one of my favorites for years, it has the most perfect texture and has insane coverage potential – always flawlessly hiding away any sort of dark circle, redness or blemish that I have. Another thing I love about this concealer is how little you have to use of the product to achieve the ultimate result. Oh and also, it’s completely waterproof! And super easy to remove! Aaaah I love it. Blend it into your skin with a pink beauty blender and never worry about blemishes again!

Diorshow Mascara & Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple volume plumping lash primer :

Next up on my list is a product that I have been in love with for years, and will almost definitely be in love with forever. An absolute essential, this mascara primer outweighs any other brand. It makes your lashes look a lot longer and thoroughly reduces the damage mascara does to them. I use this product in parallel with the Diorshow mascara and constantly receive compliments on my eyes. The brush is really big and helps you obtain the best results without leaving your lashes looking anything like spider legs…

beautyblender®️ pro- makeup sponge :

Ever since the beauty blenders came out in 2011, they have made my makeup routine 1000 times easier! I mainly use them in accordance with my concealer but occasionally use them to blend in my foundation (when I decide to wear some). I wash my beauty blender every day/every two days before applying my makeup and always use it wet. If you want enormous amounts of coverage, use it dry as it absorbs less product but if you, like me, only seek for mild coverage, a wet beauty blender is the way to go. Use this application tool everyday for the best and most flawless results, leaving your skin looking clear and perfect.

Fenty beauty – Cheek-Hugging Highlight Brush :

I have quite literally been using this application brush since the day it came out and to be perfectly honest, I now can’t live without it. The shape of the brush makes it so effortlessly easy to apply your makeup in the morning and it’s cocooning effect perfectly hugs your cheeks to aid in your highlight application. Fenty Beauty – Bronzer Match Stix :

Ever since I started wearing makeup, I have been in search of a perfect bronzer. After trying the well-known Hula bronzer, I felt satisfied but not in awe, I wasn’t obsessed. That all changed when I tried Fenty Beauty’s bronzer match stix, offering amazing color and a fantastic complexion. I use the shade “Mocha” and blend it in with a Tarte brush, it’s effortless and can be very easily built up into a thorough, contoured look.

Chanel -ROUGE ALLURE INK- Matte Liquid Lip Colour- 140 Amoureux :

I first got to try out this product back in October as a gift from Chanel for the Chanel Fashion Show (read my post about the show HERE). I received it in a red shade but didn’t really like it. Don’t get me wrong, I love the texture and how natural it looks on your lips, but definitely not in red… So anyways, long story short, I decided to give this product another try and bought the shade 140 Amoureux. It’s the perfect natural color and complements my skin tone immaculately. It’s been my go-to ever since I tried it and therefore had to make it onto this list.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – MODERN RENAISSANCE PALETTE :

I discovered this palette through a friend and trust me when I say that as soon as I saw the shades within it, I knew that I had to get my hands on it and eventually add it to my essentials makeup collection! Funnily enough, in searching to buy this product, I got a little stuck as I couldn’t find it in any Sephora’s… but while browsing on urban outfitters one day, I found it, ordered it and thats pretty much when the love story began! Seriously though, ever since I bought this product I continued to use it on a daily basis. Everything I need eyeshadow wise is in there, from an ultra-matte finish to a metallic glow. The colours vary from pink to brown, orange to red and are also very pigmented and super easy to use! I would recommend this palette to anyone as above and beyond its amazing characteristics, it’s also available in a ton of different shades.

Naked 1 – Urban Decay :

And finally, to finish off my list, I will be sharing with you all one of my very early essentials; as most of you know, my love for makeup was rooted in eyeshadow design, so here’s my first ever eyeshadow palette, the n1 Urban Decay. Trust me when I say I haven’t found any palette as memorable as this one. It has all the absolute essential shades for any makeup lover. I adore it and so will you. I take it with me wherever I go and will continue to do so forever.
