More formally known as the Costume Institute Gala, the Met gala is an annual fundraising gala organized by Vogue that takes place in New York City!! Each year, the event is set with a different theme, lat year’s was Fashion in an Age of Technology and this year’s is Art of the In-Between! Held on the first of May every year, hundreds of celebrities come together to celebrate fashion and raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. Having just looked at all of the fashion looks, I decided that I’d like to share my favorites with you guys! So without further ado, here are my favorite looks from the 2017 Met Gala!

With the exception of a few, I feel like much of the celebs kept it safe, don’t you think?! Though their gowns were so beautiful, I feel like they arrived as they would any other red carpet event or award show, not for one that celebrates the art of fashion. That said, Rita Ora’s dress is gorgeous and truly artistic, but all of these looks are simply gorgeous and inspirational overall. I love your choices and thought Zendaya in the big, bright parrot print gown with full, curly hair was also pretty stand out.
