My Closet throughout a Week in the Capital – London Look Book

Hey, guys so I’ve been in London for a while and funnily enough, have realized that the city itself is having an effect on my fashion sense… I’m experimenting a little more, trying out new things and overall just having loads of fun planning outfits! So I thought, why not share a couple of my most recent ones with all of you? Which leads me perfectly into the upcoming series of five outfits, each worn on a separate day last week. Enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments section below!

Night Owl in Fishnets
Starting the week off with a bang, I threw myself into the London cold dressed in fishnets, shorts and a concert sweater. Paired with thigh-high boots, I was able to stay warm under the city lights. Overall, this was a pretty grunge look but with the electric blue Dior bag, a touch of color was found. The graphics on the white sweater pull away from the rest of the dichromatic outfit and the black chokers complement the vibe of it all. I love Ariana Grande so sporting her merchandise felt effortlessly rewarding. To finish off, I tied my curly hair back into a mid-high ponytail and wore eyeshadow and natural makeup. Wear this look to a party or even just to town and trust me, you are guaranteed to stop traffic.

Spontaneous City Girl
Moving on to Tuesday, where I decided to tone things down a touch, reconnect with my more feminine side and wear something with slightly more coverage than the previous day. You can simply never go wrong with dark-wash, ripped, slim-fit jeans…Worn with black combat boots and a small bag, I delved into a somewhat more adventurous look. Keeping it girly with the baby-pink top, I was able to keep the outfit a little flirty. Worn with a lower ponytail than the day before and no makeup whatsoever, the outfit was also much more discrete. All in all a very mixed look, this was perfect for strolling in and out of stores and exploring London in more detail.

Primary Colours Kid
Next up on my week was Wednesday, where I wore a much lighter, brighter and overall sweeter outfit. Straying far away from Monday’s grunge look, on this day, I merely wore a red and white stripy top with some cute light-wash jeans. In order to keep the outfit my style, I paired it with my favorite Dior black boots and of course had my sweet yellow phone-case in hand at all times! I wore my natural hair down and barely any makeup to ensure full comfort for the entirety of the day! Wear this outfit and believe me, you will feel so full of joy.

Cheeky Rocker Tennis
Shaking up things on Thursday, I decided to wear a more rocker-chic ensemble. I kept it very conservative with the preppy white tennis skirt and sneakers but then changed the ball game completely with the black leather jacket and fishnet tights. I complimented this contrast with a low-cut scrappy white top and a YSL black leather shoulder bag. Although slightly intense, this look is super cute and made trying on clothes all day very efficient and quick. I got a lot of compliments on the whole dichromatic effect of it and even my brother stated that he liked how grungy yet reserved the outfit was.

Comfy Grunge Barbie
Finally, we arrive at Friday, where I ended my week with the most calm encompassing of all my previous outfits. I kept the dichromatic vibe from Thursday’s look going through my black & white sweater. The girly/flirty vibe from Tuesday’s outfit through the pink Chanel bag. The grunge attitude from Monday’s look through my black boots. And finally, the comfy energy from Wednesday’s outfit through keeping my hair down and through the overall scheme of the outfit. Wear this out with friends and have a guaranteed good time!

So there you go, those were the five looks I wore this past week. I hope they inspire you to come to London and more importantly, to explore your fashion sense!

Sending you all loads of love wherever you may be in the world.
