SLEEPING BEAUTY TRICKS

Did you ever watch sleeping beauty while asking yourself: why don’t I look this perfect after a long nap? Or why does her skin look so fresh and flawless and mine doesn’t? Well, I did some research and have some tricks I accumulated with the years to wake up with a baby skin in the morning.

(Those are just some extra care tricks but you should also do your skincare routine with it)

TO HAVE SOFT LEGS AND ARMS
I tend to have very dry skin during the winter, so I put body butter everyday after my shower. For people with very dry feet, you can put a lot of cream on your feet at night with socks and you will then wake up with very soft feet! Don’t forget to also put a lot of cream on your elbows, as it’s one of the driest part of the body! These are some of my favorite body butter :

  • Egg Mellow Body Butter, Too Cool For SchooL
  • Creme de Corps, Kiehl’s
  • Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil
  • Skin Caviar Luxe Souffle Body Cream, la prairie

FOR DAMAGED HAIR
For Damaged hair you can put Argan Oil on your hair tips once a week and sleep with it.

FOR A PERFECT SKIN
As you may already know, I am totally obsessed with masks. Overnight Sleep Masks are great, and there are so many of them, just as there are regular masks. Here are some of my favorites :

  • The Estée Edit Pink Peony Overnight Water Pack
  • TONYMOLY Magic Food Golden Mushroom Sleeping Mask
  • Tata Harper Moisturizing Overnight Mask
  • Origins Drink Up Intensive

FOR ALL THE PARTY GIRLS WITH DARK CIRCLES
I adore masks in general, but eye patches are my favorites! Put the mask just before going to sleep and leave it during the whole night. When you wake up, you will have much lighter dark circles and an overall fresher look! Here are some of my favorite eye patches:

  • Sake Brightening Hydrogel Eye Masks Boscia
  • Peter Thomas Roth 24k Gold Hydra-gel Eye Patches
  • Stress Relief Eye Mask

FOR SOFT AND SMOOTH LIPS
Put a lot of Vaseline/or any other thick lip balm on your lips – the oilier the better! I have personally tried a thousand lip balm. I went from Chanel to Bio products, but I think Vaseline will stay the best lip balm for me. You will wake up with perfectly soft lips who will be ready to wear lipstick during the day! I also wear a lot of Matte lipstick and tend to have dryer lips because of that so putting a thick coat of Vaseline every night makes my lips rest a little. To have smoother lips, you can also exfoliate two times a week with sugar.

FOR LONGER AND HEALTHIER LASHES
It came to a great surprise to me that Vaseline has more uses than just softening my lips! I put a small amount of it on my lashes anywhere from every night to at least 3 nights a week, which has made them so much longer and thicker within a few months – I saw crazy results!

I hope all of these tips are as helpful to you as they have been to me over the years! Feel free to try them all and let me know which are your favorites in the comments!
