The All Natural and Cruelty-Free Brand Everyone is Talking About – REVIEWING 6 PRODUCTS FROM HERBIVORE BOTANICALS

Hey guys! How’s it going? It’s been a few days since my last beauty post, so, I thought this topic would be perfect for a new post. Whilst in Los Angeles I went to Sephora and chose a few items from a brand to review. As I’ve been into more natural products these past few months I decided to try-out ‘Herbivore Botanicals’. They are a cruelty-free and also vegan/plant-based company, which is super cool! I chose 6 products to review today, so let’s get onto the products!
.

(Disclaimer): This post is once again not sponsored! I would also like to point out that in listing my products I included both the name of the product on the website and the name that is actually on the product. For some reason, these names can vary so I put both so you don’t get confused. All the prices and names come from the ‘Herbivore Botanicals’ official website! ITEMS LISTED IN ORDER:

1.) PRISM Exfoliating Glow Potion
Product name: Herbivore Prism Natural Fruit Acid 5% exfoliating glow potion

Quantity: 30 mL
Price: $62.00

.

I first tried out this product which is half serum, half essence. The product is basically an oil for your skin. It lightly exfoliates dead skin and de-clogs pores; leaving you with a fresh and baby smooth face! I totally fell in love with this product and I love the fact that’s it’s water-based. The water-based element of the product makes it feel gentler on the skin and it also feels more nourishing.

2.) Jasmine Green Tea Balancing Toner
Product name: Herbivore Jasmine Green Tea Jasmine Water Balancing Toner

Quantity: 120 mL

Price: $39.00

.
I also enjoyed trying this product out, but, I probably won’t purchase another one when this bottle is finished. I have quite a few toners that work amazingly for me and this one isn’t the one. Don’t get me wrong it is light and fresh but I have still seen better results coming from toners. This product is still very refreshing and I would recommend it to anyone that is just starting out to use toners because it has a very light smell and is not very strong on your skin.

3.) Brighten Pineapple + Gemstone Mask
Product name: Herbivore Brighten Instant Glow Mask

Quantity: 70 mL

Price: $48.00

.
I was so surprised to discover how liquid this mask is! I don’t think I’ve ever tried a mask this liquid. But, it felt great and fresh as soon as I applied it. I left it on for 20 minutes (the instructions tell you to do so) and I took it off to find a radiant glow! My skin was left feeling better than it ever has quite frankly! I would recommend doing this mask if you’re sick or tired. It is so refreshing so it would literally wake you up and leave you feeling fresh and amazing.

4.) Blue Tansy Resurfacing Clarity Mask

Product: Herbivore Blue Tansy Resurfacing Clarity Mask

Quantity: 70 mL

Price: $48.00

.
Once again, I was 100% surprised by the consistency of this mask. I have never ever tried a liquid clarity mask, but, who tries nothing has nothing (very deep). Anyways, the mask smelt so natural. The smell was kind of like the smell of natural oils. I totally felt like I was at the spa whilst applying it in my bathroom and who doesn’t love that feeling?! Also, all of the masks that I bought from this brand came with spatulas which is super cool and I wish more masks had them! It made the mask so easy to apply and I didn’t have to use my fingers or one of my brushes!

.
5.) MOON FRUIT Superfruit Night Treatment

Product: Herbivore Moon Fruit Superfruit night treatment

Quantity: 50 mL

Price: $58.00

.
I didn’t really know what to expect from this product. I don’t usually use night masks or treatments. I will only ever use a night product if I am traveling a lot or if my skin is bad and I have an event the next day. But, this one really did work its wonders. I absolutely adore the fresh creamy light texture and the gorgeous violet color of the mask that I wasn’t expecting! Like the previous mask I was talking about, this one also smells like oils (but in a lighter way), and I love it! Also, I felt like Violet from Charlie and the chocolate factory whilst applying this haha (best childhood movie ever)!

6.) Bamboo Charcoal Cleansing Bar Soap

Product: Herbivore Bamboo Charcoal Detoxifying Soap Bar

Quantity: 113g

Price: $12.00

.
As soon as I saw this item on the shelf at Sephora I knew I would have to try it out as well as all the others. I understand now that this product is good for all skin types. This bar gently cleanses and exfoliates any problematic skin type. At the moment my skin is not so good as I have been traveling a lot and not taking that much care of it (my skin is being very problematic). The soap doesn’t leave my skin dry at all and although I’ve only tried it out a few times I already see improvements with my skin. I will definitely use this at home but mainly while I travel! I love that this was the cheapest product that I bought but it was definitely my favorite!
.

.
That pretty much wraps it up! I was highly impressed with this vegan brand as it truly did wonders to my skin. I just discovered some new favourites of mine that I can’t wait to use over and over again! I love how aesthetic all their products are and mainly that all their items are made from glass and not plastic (like most brands), which is so good and ecological!
.
Do you personally prefer glow face masks or clarifying ones? Are you going to try out these products or maybe even order some online? Let me know!
.
I still can’t get over the fact that all their products are made from glass, are vegan, are truly natural AND completely cruel free!! That is so good and impressive!! Money well spent! I also can’t get over how cute the bottles and packing of the brand is! The aesthetic of the brand is so pretty and also really minimal which makes it look really cool!
.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this review! See you next timeeeeeeeee!

Lots of LOVE, as always,

Tiffany Lea
