I don’t write often, but when I do everything comes out. As I share a lot of my life with you guys, I wanted to share my favorite poem I wrote. So here it is, the little story of my ideal world.
I am living my dream
I really am
But people don’t understand it yet.
How different I am.
My difference will make me shine.
I know it will.
I taught myself to fight my fears.
and no one will be able to take that away from me.
I am living something so rare and beautiful,
I wouldn’t want to leave my new world for anything.
Because I have finally been able to escape what I was trapped in my whole life; lying to myself and everyone around me.
So here I am. Not perfect but my real self-doing the best I can
I have hope and will never stop fighting to achieve my goal.
I will never stop
I know myself better than anyone else.
I know what is better for me.
This is my freedom
I wasn’t lucky; I just did what I had to do to get here in my ideal world
